Not easy peasy
Pea protein tastes chalky because when it’s ground into powder, the particles are too big and don’t mix well with water. To fix it, we found a suuuuper fine grade of pea protein – smaller particles, better mixing, waaay less chalkiness. Problem solved!
Completing the storyProtein
Protein quality depends on its ‘completeness.’ But most plant proteins on their own are incomplete. So we combined pea and brown rice proteins in a 70:30 ratio to get a complete amino acid profile.
